VOCABULARY


  • DECIDUOUS (ADJECTIVE) 
MEANING : 
(USE ABOUT A TREE) OF A TYPE THAT LOSES ITS LEAVES EVERY AUTUMN.

EXAMPLE:
1. Deciduous trees have a beautiful scenery during the autumn.
2.These are generally deciduous trees such as crab apple, lime and willow.
  • ASSEMBLAGE (NOUN)
MEANING : 
A GROUP OF PERSONS OR THINGS GATHERED OR COLLECTED ;AN ASSEMBLY
EXAMPLE:
1. The leaves are the assemblage of the different species of tree.
2.  Its remarkable and unique fossil assemblage has inspired scientists from all over the world.
  • NOTARIZE (ADJECTIVE)
MEANING : 
TO CERTIFY (A DOCUMENT, CONTRACT, ETC.) OR CAUSE TO BECOME CERTIFIED THROUGH A NOTARY PUBLIC.
EXAMPLE : 
1. The manager notarized his documents for his resignation.
2. Please mail notarized copies of documents to the Wedding Office at least 60 days prior to your arrival date at the resort.

  • SUBJUGATE (VERB)
MEANING : 
TO BRING COMPLETE CONTROL OR SUBJECTION; CONQUER; MASTER
EXAMPLE : 
1. Korean singer are trying to subjugate the world music industries. 
2. Such a society needs to subjugate others, to establish some visible superiority.
  • DISCERN (VERB)
MEANING : 
TO PERCEIVE BY THE SIGHT OR SOME OTHER SENSE OR BY THE INTELLECT; SEE RECOGNIZE OR APPREHEND.
EXAMPLE : 
1. You can only discern the answers by doing a lot of exercises because practice makes perfect.
2. Instead He asks us to do our best, trusting our innate ability to discern the truth.
