VOCABULARY 

Concatenation (noun)
Definition:
a series of events, ideas, or things that are connected.
Example:
A concatenation of events.

Dupe (verb)
Definition:
to deceive someone, usually by making that person do something that they did not intend to do.
Example:
The girls were duped by drug smugglers into carrying heroin for them.

Garish (adjective)
Definition:
unpleasantly bright.
Example:
a pair of garish Bermuda shorts.

Intrepid (adjective)
Definition:
extremely brave and showing no fear of dangerous situations.
Example:
A team of intrepid explorers.

Querulous (adjective)
Definition:
often complaining, especially in a weak high voice.
Example:
He became increasingly dissatisfied and querulous in his old age.
