VOCABULARY 

Ebullient (adjective)
Definition:
very energetic, positive, and happy.
Example:
He wasn't his usual ebullient self.

Garrulous (adjective)
Definition:
having the habit of talking a lot, especially about things that are not important.
Example:
Girls have garrulous habit of talking about guys. 

Invidious (adjective)
Definition:
likely to cause unhappiness or be unpleasant, especially because it is unfair.
Example:
Such a difficult choice placed her in an invidious position.

Moribund (adjective)
Definition:
(especially of an organization or business) not active or successful.
Example:
How can the Trade Department be revived from its present moribund state?

Pernicious (adjective)
Definition:
having a very harmful effect or influence.
Example:
The cuts in government funding have had a pernicious effect on local health services.
