VOCABULARY 

Atrophy (verb)
Definition:
(of a part of the body) to be reduced in size and therefore strength, or, more generally, to become weaker.
Example:
After several months in a hospital bed, my leg muscles had atrophied.

Percipient (adjective)
Definition:
good at noticing and understanding things.
Example:
Daniel has a good percipient understanding towards Chemistry subject.

Quaff (verb)
Definition:
to drink something quickly or in large amounts.
Example:
It is mean to quaff infront of the formal  

Staunch (adjective)
Definition:
always loyal in supporting a person, organization, or set of beliefs or opinions.
Example:
He gained a reputation as being a staunch defender of civil rights.

Vilify (verb)
Definition:
to say or write unpleasant things about someone or something, in order to cause other people to have a bad opinion of them.
Example:
He was vilified by the press as a monster.
